Congratulations to Phillip Evans, SPMA Alumni 18 months – 8th grade, on his acceptance to Harvard University!  Phillip graduated from the Middle School Program in 2013 and spent nearly 13 years building a strong foundation at SPMA.  We are so proud of him and are confident that he is prepared for anything!

Tonight’s the night!

Candlelit Concert & Auction TONIGHT 5:30 pm

All students should arrive by 5 pm.  Please use carpool.  Teachers will be greeting students and going to the classrooms.  All parents should be seated before 5:30 pm.  Hot cocoa and luminaries are available, so please bring cash for donations.

Auction is open and bids will be accepted until 7:00 pm.  There are so many wonderful items.  Please don’t miss out!

We have added tags to our community Hurricane Tree.  These are items still needed by SPMA families and staff members.  The tree is in the lobby and will be up through next week.

The Blue Room needs help to move classroom shelves back into their closet.  We need at least 4 strong SPMA parents to help each time.  Please meet us on Monday morning at 8:15 am and 2:45 pm.  A sign-up sheet will be posted on the bulletin board so that we can ensure that we have enough people to come at each time.  Thank you!

The week of December 5

Dear Parents,

We hope that you are ready for a fun week at SPMA!  Don’t forget about the Candlelit Concert and Auction this Friday, December 9, at 5:30 pm!  All of the students will be singing their hearts out as we enjoy a chilly holiday evening together.  If you came last year, I’m sure that you mimic my belief that it was the best concert ever!  Please don’t miss out- history will repeat itself!

School photos are ready!  Your school pictures were emailed yesterday.  If you have not received your child’s gallery, check your spam mail.  If you have any difficulties, contact photography[@]sheandhephotography[dot]com.

If you would like your photos before we end school for the holidays (on December 16), all orders are due by Thursday, December 8.  Turn in your orders promptly!  There are several new offerings and packages for families that make perfect gifts for loved ones.  You can also access the order form here: School Photo Order Form

The next PTO meeting takes place this Tuesday, December 6, at 5:45 pm!

I look forward to seeing everyone this Friday!  If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact me, call the office, or pop into school.

‘Tis the season 🙂

Annual CAPA Tree begins today!

Let’s keep the giving going!  Our 3rd annual CAPA Giving Tree has returned.  Join us in choosing a tag off of the tree and providing a gift to a child in need this holiday season.  The tags are “wishes” from local children who have been abused and/or neglected and are currently living in foster care or the Beaufort County Open Arms Shelter.  Last year, we filled 2 huge car loads!  Due to Hurricane Matthew clean-up, our tags are going up later than usual with a quick turn-around deadline.  All gifts are due by Friday, December 9!  Please pick up a tag today!
